9/21 Our last day at WDW and our adventure home.

So here we are on the last day of our Walt Disney World adventure.  We want to get an early start as we will only have a few hours to visit parks before heading to the airport.  We decide today will be Animal Kingdom as we did not get to spend much time there and Mom want to get a Dinasour for Jack.

Got some pics outta the way.  The picture with baby Simba is one that Breanne had been waiting for.  It was on her must have list.  This was to be a very quick visit.  We headed straight to the Dinosaur ride so mom and I could hit the gift shop.  Ron, Breanne and Mike went on the ride while we shopped.  We listened to this really good african group of musicians and then our time was up... :(

We hoped the bus back to our resort to wait for the Magic Express to take us to the airport.

On the bus  ride to the airport the skies open up and it begins to rain like crazy.  We are also treated to thunder and lightning.  We arrive safetly at the airport only to hear that all of the flight to Atlanta are delayed due to weather.  UGH!  Sonow we have to decise if we want to just stay the night in Orlando or hang out at the airport hoping to get on a flight.  We ultimatley decide it is better to get to Atlanta when there is a break in the weather and stay the night there.  So after a 4 hour delay we are on the plane to Atlanta.  The flight was uneventful and soon we are looking through the airport hotel directory trying to decide where to go for the night.  We choose a random hotel and go outside to wait for the shuttle.  As it turns out the place that I so wisely selected is not only in the "hood" of Atlanta it is undergoing construction!  I am not being a snob either the hotel staff told us.."Do not go out at night, this is a really bad neighborhood"!  NICE!  So we ate dinner at the onsite restaraunt, got our compimentary overnight pack....yes you see ALL of our luggage was in route to Seattle, and went to bed.  The next day after our continental breakfast we crammed into the hotels shuttle van like sardines and headed back to the airport.  This time we boarded our flight with no delays and were on our way home.

This was our cozy Atlanta hotel room.
So our trip comes to and end.  We had some highs and some really low lows. But just like the pain of childbirth the bad times seems to be fading in my memory and the good times I hope will  be the memories that are long lasting!
