Hey! That's not fair giving a gal a shot down there!

Lucky me I get to start B12 injections on Thursday.  Apparently my B12 levels are dangerously low.  So once a week for a month then once monthy injections are in my future. Yay!  I am really hoping that they do not hurt!  Big baby alert!

Man I can't believe that it is only Tuesday! I am so tired this week. Aside from the low B12 I think I am just emotionally drained and that is really wearing me down.  House full of crazies, myself included.  Sometimes I really wish I lived all alone.

My weekend

So this is the year for High School Graduations.  I know kids graduate every year but for us this seems to be the year everyone we know is graduating.  Breanne graduated last year and most of her freinds were a year behind her.  Boy did that year fly by.  I attended Tylers Graduation ceremony at the Tacoma dome.  Since Breanne did not walk at her commencment I was imagining what it would have been like to sit in the stands and cheer her on.  It was a very nice cermony followed by an awseome party at Linda and Gregs.  I still can't believe that the kids are now 18 and out of high school.

Seems like just the other day they were so little.  Not anymore!

So not only are the kids on a journey to discover what to do with the rest of thier lives it also leaves us parents wondering what to do after raising our kids for 18 years.

What's Happening

Trying to "catch" up on my blog.  Want to finish blogging our WDW trip too.  So I will be posting lots soon.
Moms hip relacement went well she spent about 2 weeks in the hospital and rehab so she missed having Christmas at home.  We took Christmas to her at the rehab facility.  She is now home and back to work!  My EGD was clear and everything looked good!  Although Breanne moved her stuff back home we never see her!  LOL!  She will be starting school in the fall and assures me that she IS looking for a job...I however am not convinced!

WDW day 6 9/18 More of the Studios

1st up Toy Story Mania!  This ride was fun.
Then on to Light, Motors, Action.  This was an awesome stunt car show.  They kinda give you the behind the scenes secrets and it was really cool to watch.
After the stunt show Ron was not feeling good so he headed back to the resort for a nap.  We were crazy hot so we stopped for Ice cream.  Here the kids are enjoying there tasty treats.
Next up Rock-N-Rollercoster.  This ride is really fun.  I think the kids went a few times while g-ma and i rested in the shade.
We then watched the Indian Jones Stunt show.  This was funny.  Here is one of the fight scenes.
For dinner we had reservations at the 50's Prime Time Cafe.  We love this place.  We ate here when Breanne was 4 and she remembers the smores desert.  This resturaunt is 50's themed and it is like the homes and kitchens of the day.   Here are Breanne and Mike waiting in the "living room" for our reservation to be called.
Resting on one of the sofas.
Here we are at our table.  Mickey Mouse club was on the TV. YAY!
Mom and I had the Meatloaf, Mike got Fried chicken and I don't remember wht Bre got.  I think the chicken too. Then Dessert!  Here is Mike looking at the dessert menu...yup! it is on a view finder.  How sweet is that!

Here are the AMAZING smores!  Breanne and I both got this!  Mom got a Angel food cake with berries that was yummy and Mike got the build your own Sundae.
Breanne digging into the smores!

Mike creating his Sundae masterpiece!  Dinner was great!  After dinner we are off to explore more of the park and see Fantasmic!

On the way to Fantasmic we stopped to watch these performers.  They were very funny.  Then outta now where this squirrell ran into the street and realized he had no where to go.  People were everywhere.

He darted back and forth quite unsure of what to do.  Finally he just ran for it and straight up a tree right next to me.  He stole the show for tha moment.

As we waited in line for fanstamic we all put on our glow in the dark braclets.

The show was awsome!  My pictures don't really do it justice.  The stadium was packed too!

The end...of Fanstasmic that is.  After the show we s..l..o..w..l..y made our way out of the park and caught the bus back to POP!  It was a good day!

Camano Island Treasure Hunt

Feb 20th we headed to Camano Island for their 1st annual Treasure hunt.  You are suposed to look for clues that will lead you to a treasure.  The treasure is a hand blown glass ball.  We were very lucky to have choosen such a fabulous day to go exploring.  We started at Freedom park where we picked up our treasure maps and guide books and then set out to explore the Island.  Our Merry band of travelers included, Ron, Liz, Carri and Myself.  We walked around Freedom park then headed to score some lunch.  After lunch we visited an Alpaca farm.  So cute they are.  Alpaca fix fulfilled we headed to the beach to explore.

We found TONS of creatures under the rocks.  Here is one of the critters!  We must have walked for miles but neved did spot any clue balls.  Darn it! After a day of seeing the beautiful Island we stopped at the Tulalip casino onthe drive home.  Ron and Ileft our money behind...but Carri and Liz both did very well. It was a super nice day and we all had a blast!

Happy Birthday Marsha

Things were so busy this year that we waitied until after all of the holidays and New Years were done and then had a nice party at our house for my Birthday.  It was such a blast!  We had great food from Longhorn BBQ and we grilled some smoked sausage.  After much drinking and eating we played a very hilarious game of Pervartistry.  Learned that most of are already perverts...LOL.  Learned alot of "new" words too.  A good time was had by all.

Christmas

We had a very nice Christmas this year.  Carol, Arianna, Janie, Breanne, Mike, Ron and me.  Ron worked the night before so he only got about 4 hours of sleep.  The plan was for eveyone to arrive about 3 to open gifts then have a nice dinner.  I was making Prime Rib and Ham.  Well 3 came and went and no sign of Carol , not suprised!  So I wrapped up dinner so we could eat and just as I was finishing Her and Anna arrived.  We had a delish dinner and then got to the gifts.

Update

Wow I have been slacking on the Bloggesphere!  Time to update:

So now that Mike, Ron and my mom have all had and recovered from the swine flu I can breath a little deeeper, seriously!  Still have everyone hand washing and santizing like loonies but I will not get this stupid flu.  So all that we , Breanne and Ron that is, are suffering now is the common cold.  Which as Tammy knows they did not get by going outside with wet hair or without a coat on.  Sickies must have not washed their hands good enough or were sharing spit with another sickie. (Yuck) For Breanne I get this but I would like to know who my hubby was kissing???  Will stick with the non-handwashing theory for that one!

I have recently had an EGD, camera down the old throat.  So they could see if anything is wrong with my inners.  Took some biopsies and will find out the result of that on Monday 12/14.  This is also the day my mom goes in for her second hip replacement.  She will now have 2 artificial hips and a knee.  Big hope is that she is pain free and can get around a bit easier.  She will recover in the hospital for a couple of days and then move to a rehab facility for a week or so until she can mostly take care of herself.  Since no one is home during the daytime it would not be safe to leave her home alone.  She should be home in time for Christmas though.

What else....it is freezing here!  Suprise, not... had a pipe burst at work yesterday very exciting water raining from the celing.  Got that all fixed up today.  No apparent major damage.  Luckly we were here when it happend or the whole building would have been flooded.

Breanne has moved back home.  She has decided to change schools and majors and this is best done form the comfort of Mommys house.  She will start at Green River Community College in February.  She want to major in something mathy?  Math!  Blech!  She loves it though and is a whiz.

So that should bring us up to date for now.

Weekend update

This was a very busy weekend!  I feel more exhaused now then at the end of the week.
Friday was Mike Birthday Party.  We went to Round Table Pizza.  Just a few boys, Mike, Breanne, Ron,Liz and Carol were there .  It was fun Mike and the boys ran around on the "big toy" and played video games.  We had cake and Pizza and Mike got the best gifts ever, MONEY!  Ron then took the boys home to watch scary movies. I had pictures but managed to some how erase my memory card! : (

After the party Liz and I went out for drinks at The Ram.  We had some delicous martinis, I first orderes a Blueberry Lemondrop, YUM, and Liz got a blended Martini with Peach Puree and Mango it was also delish!  Not round we switched.  Third round I got a Fruit Tickler Martini and Liz had some kind Fruit tea, like a Long Island only fruity.  Drink were yummy, but best of all it was super nice to spend an evening of girl talk with Liz.

Up early Saturday for a couple of hours of work.  Supposed to meet a friend but that fell through so I went shopping.  Got home Mike had planned to go to a freinds for Halloween so about 2:30 I ran him down into town to drop him off.  I decided to Tan and then fininsh my grocery shopping.  Was going to head up to Fed way to hang out an some friend but they were no feeling well so resigned to spending the evening in.  NO GO!  Rons mom called around 8 and needed a ride to the ER Anna is very sick with a high fever.  So off too the ER I go.  Arianna end up having SWINE FLU!!!   Poor kid is soo sick, she is coughing so hard and just looks awful.  No school for a week for her.  By the time I get home it is after 1:00am.

Sunday again up at the crack "O" 7:30 because my Uncle Dick and his wife Linda are visiting from Califonia and will be here at 8:30.   They arrive so nice to see them, my mom is especially excited to have them visiting.  They really want to go to NW Trek so off we go.  It is really a great day to be outside.  Chilly but clear and no rain.  NW Trek is amazing we get to see tons of animal and get some great picture.  My uncle is an avid photographer so he and Linda really got some great shots.  After NW Trek we headed to Tacoma to see the Chihuly Bridge of Glass.

I have been here a couple of times and it is so beautiful.  Everyone really seemed to enjoy themselves.  We spent a couple hours looking around and taking pictures.  When it was time to go Linda and I went to get the car while Mom and Uncle Dick stayed at Starbucks for coffee as they were sore and pooped both are getting hips replaced in the next two months and it really takes a toll on them.  We head home to get the kids and go out to dinner.  For dinner we head to Samurai Japanease Steak house.  Dinner was yummy and tons of fun.  They cook at you table and do all of the fun tricks etc that you would expect.  We had great food and great conversation.  After dinner we said our goodbyes and they headed back to the B&B.  Mom is going to go with them tommorow on a drive to Mt. Rainer but sadly I have to work.  It was a really nice visit though and I hope they can come back soon.  So home to bed at about 10:00pm which is pretty late for me!  Whew this weeknd was a busy one and I am pooped!
