This week I got a new hair cut and lost 6 lbs! Woo-Hoo! ( I know if you are like most people you can't even tell that I got my hair cut but I did really I got my bangs back and had alot cut off)

Lazy weekend

So the weather was great this weekend so the Hubby and I went for a bike ride. The rest of the weekend was spent in my usual fashion. Tons of Laundry and lots of house cleaning. I do love it when my house sparkles though. Watched some shows we had recorded. The Long Way Down - a motorcycle trip show with Ewan Mcgregor. This show is really great and Ron and I just LOVE it. A a couple of episodes of House. Now I am making dinner and getting ready to relax and watch funny vidoes!

Oh I found this Disney web site. DISboards.com Besides it being all things Disney, which of course I LOVE, there are tons of message boards that you can read and post too. I stumbled across the trip reports section and began reading about a French women and her WDW trip. OMG!! I was freakin hooked. She is hysterical! If youhave the time it is worth the read. 1st Day of School

As is my tradition I torture the the kids every year with 1st day of school pictures. This year Breanne is a Senior and Mike is in the 7th grade.

Mike is a willing participant but Breanne HATES this tradition. Well lucky for her this is her last year (sniff). Actually I am sure I will be picture happy when I drop her at College next year too!

Camping at Kanaskat-Palmer State Park

Boy can I pick em! We were only able to get in 2 camping trips this summer and for both of those trips we got RAIN! It NEVER rains the last weeknd in August! What happened to our summer. Despite the rain we still managed to have a good time. It was cold, wet and Muddy but there were patches of sun breaks. So no time at the river but we did have some nice walks and the kids did alot of hiking. This was Ebonys first camping trip and she did pretty good. She was nervous at first not sure what we were doing but then she settled in. By the 3rd and last night she was her normal self barking at Chipmunks and bugs! Brutus being the seasoned camper dog fell right into his routine of owning the campsite. Ever on the look out for falling food. We took Ashley and Arianna who had never been camping before. They seemed to have a really good time although I wish the weather had been better so we could have played in the river. Janie and Carmen and Carmens son Logan also came. Lets hope next year we get better weather!
